This outfitter’s mountain goat hunts are conducted during late September aboard their private yacht, and include guaranteed tags (NO DRAWS!). They offer two types of goat hunts. The first is “low elevation” hunt, which is from their 50’ boat which you return to nightly (when not on the mountain pursuing goats, you are living in comfort aboard the yacht where your full-time cook keeps you fed and the TV plays a good movie. The second type of hunt for goats involves arriving by the boat, going ashore, climbing and spiking out for a couple days, then return to re-provision. The first is a relatively easy hunt, while the other is a more “normal” goat hunt. Their area has an unreal amount of goats, and seeing 50 to 100 a day is not unusual. Horns average around 9.5 inches, which is excellent, and success is high for clients. These are true trophy mountain goat hunts. They harvest strictly large billies with long furred hides. They do not shoot female or small goats.

They limit these to a very few hunts each year and the results speak for themselves. Abundant black bears in this area catch salmon in the streams near the yacht and can be combined with goats as an additional trophy.
